You can see the outlines of the displays and the edges of the canopy, but perspective still applies and you can not scale the displays accurately because you do not know the distance you are from them nor the angle that they subtend. You can import the interior mdl file into ModelConvertorX and view it in wireframe. You may be able to work out the precise distance between the edges of the canopy from 3 view drawings, but you can not scale from that distance. What does that give you? The distance between the left and right edges of the canopy can be measured in pixels on your screenshot, but you can not scale from that because the screen shot has perspective applied so the azimuth scale is non-linear. Take a screenshot facing forwards, save it. OK, you have what you believe is an accurate FS model, then what? How do you work out the dimensions accurately? Every view you have in FS has perspective applied to it. This is a default aircraft, so expecting full realism is not realistic (pun intended), but before you complain that an aircraft is “sad” you may want to actually research how it works and compare it to the real thing, not to your fictional expectations of it.Which the release of FS2020 we see an explosition of activity on the forun and of course we are very happy to see this. Pulling activates the emergency brake, twisting activates and deactivates the parking brake. You have a crosswind.ĥ (b?): It absolutely does. You’re not piloting a TIE Fighter.ģ: That’s why the setting is called “auto” right there on the label.Ĥ: The hud points to your travel direction. Piloting this kind of aircraft is all about being smooth. It sounds to me that most of your complaints are pretty much tied to not knowing the subject matter.Ģ: “hard” maneuvering causing a heavy fighter jet to become unresponsive is how it works. Prob more but I was too fed up with the plane to continue 1:Canopy doesnt open…If you use addons such as FSRealistic its nice when the canopy opensĢ:Doesnt do flight maneuvers fully or at all.Ī hard bank turn and the plane becomes unresponsive and kinda goes all over the place, so maneuverability needs fixed.0ģ: The flaps are always down even on the ground parked and they and the speed break are always deploying on their own.Ĥ: The HUD is off and not quite on target.ĥ:so much inop buttons…Thats just lazinessĥ: The parking break config is off it doesnt stop the aircraft
